Early Times Reporter Srinagar | May 21 Security forces have busted a militant hideout in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition, a defence spokesman said here today. A specific search operation was launched by troops of 15 Rashtriya Rifles in Darban forest in Kulgam district yesterday, the spokesman said. During the search operation, troops busted a hideout and recovered 17 UBGL grenades, three hand grenades, an improvised explosive device (IED), two anti-personnel mines, two electronic detonator, two remote control IEDs and 23 fired cases, the spokesman said. Two AK rifles, eight magazines, 293 rounds of AK ammunition, one battery, one RPG booster, one radio set with antenna and three broken antennas were also recovered from the hideout, he added. |
