| DPS Leh organizes Fruit-Chaat Party | | | Early Times Report
Leh, July 4: Delhi Public School, Leh conducted Fruit-Chaat Party for the kindergarten Section of the school during which the students were made familiar with the names of different fruits.
It is pertinent to mention here that Leh town is cut off from whole of the country from Nov. till April every year because of the accumulation of the snow and ice. During present month fruit is available in abundance. The idea of organizing this activity was just to apprise the students about the recognition and identification of different fruits. The students were happy and delighted and they have a good time in the school with their friends and teachers. Principal of the school also went around and interacted with the students and he asked the students about different fruits they were eating which they named correctly. Vice-Principal of the school H.K.Sidhu also interacted with the students and she posed many questions to the students and she praised them for their presence of mind. Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Leh T.P.Singh also appreciated and applauded the effort of the staff for conducting such an activity which will be surely going to enrich their knowledge and mental skills. |
