| Hockey: High School Simbal boys in U-14, U-17 finals | | | Early Times Reporter

Government High School (GHS) Simbal today entered the finals of both under-14 and under-17 boys groups in the inter-school hockey tournament of Jammu district organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.
In the under-14 semi-final, GHS Simbal defeated Guru Harkrishan Public School by a solitary goal. The only goal for Simbal School was scored by Lakhvir Choudhary.
Again, in the under-17 category, GHS Simbal outplayed the same opponent of Guru Harkrishan Public School 1-0. Sarabjeet Singh scored the all important goal converting a penalty corner.
“The finals shall be played tomorrow morning at the same venue,” informed the organizing secretary of the competitions, Physical Education Master (PEM) Tirth Ram.
