| JKTDC reviving old glory of tourism | | | Srinagar, Aug 30: Tourism industry of the state which remained disturbed this year is coming back to its position where it was struck, after militant strikes in last two months. People across the country have moved towards valley and most of the tourists were found on special journey to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. “I have never been to Kashmir” Britt Paul told News Agency of Kashmir adding what I used to heard about Kashmir is ten time more in beauty and the hospitality of people is too good. All for what Kashmir was famous is being revived by the department to attract more and more tourists to Kashmir. The department of tourism seems to be on toes to revive tourism industry of the state which benefits a good number of populations of the state directly or indirectly. "The old tradition is being revived to its old glory, we are revving it at famous lake of Kashmir” Nayeem Akhtar, Secretary Tourism said. “The combination of history old traditions included listening to Sufi music gives freshness to the visitors and taste of Kashmiri Wazwan dishes and sips of spiced Kehwa tea, remind them all what they are told off by the travel agencies” said Ghulam Hassan a House boat owner.
