| Doda police bust militant hideout | | |
Doda, Aug 30: Police today claimed to have busted a Militant hideout in Tanta Kurthwa, at thathri area of district Doda.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that police on a tiff off launched a special operation in thathri area of Doda and busted a hideout which they said was being used by the militants.
Police which searched the hideout has recovered 30 kilograms of rice, 8 blankets,4 packets of milk powder,5 kilograms of ghee,2 packets of tea 5 Kg sugar, several pkts of dry fruits 10 detonators and 5 meters of explosive card.
Militants who were reportedly present in the hideout escaped while taking advantage of maize crops and raining weather. |
