| 15 KAS officers promoted, 12 transferred | | | Early Times Reporter

Bringing more fortunes to the civil babudom, the government today approved promotions of 15 officers drawn from four different departments to the super time scale of Rs 10,000-15,200 of the Kashmir Administrative Services. Another IAS officer too have been placed in the higher grade.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the officers promoted to the Super Time scale of KAS are: M. K. Raina, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Mr. A. A. Bhat, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sarangal, of J&K Employment (Gazetted) service Mr. M. S. Choudhary of J&K Labour (Gazetted) Service) Mrs. Anuradha, Mr. Tanveer Iqbal, Mr. Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Peer, Mr. Nawab Din, Mrs. Nirupa Rai of J&K Cooperative (Gazetted) service, Syed Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Mr. Mehboob-ul-Hassan Baig, Mr. Mohammad Muzaffar Rafiqi and Mr. Sajad Hussain Ganai of J&K Excise and Taxation (Gazetted) service.
In another order government has accorded promotion of Mr. Eijaz Iqbal, IAS to the selection grade of IAS of Rs 15,100-18,300 w.e.f.01-01-2008.
Meanwhile, the Government has also ordered transfers and postings 12 officers of KAS. According to an order, Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari, KAS Director Rural Development Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government Forest department.
Mohammad Abass Dar, KAS Director Social Welfare Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Director Rural Development Kashmir vice Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari.
Syed Altaf Hussain, KAS awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Power Development Department vice Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Shah.
Khursheed Ahmad Shah, KAS Special Secretary to Government Power Development Department has been transferred and posted as Director Social Welfare Kashmir vice Mr. Mohammad Abass Dar.
J. L. Bhagat, KAS Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abiyan has been transferred and posted as Director Rural Development, Jammu relieving Mr. Harjit Singh, Joint Director Planning in the Directorate of Rural development, Jammu of the additional charge of the post. The charge of the post of Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abiyan shall be held by Director, School Education Kashmir in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Mohammad Javed Khan, KAS, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism development Authority Rajouri has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri against available vacancy. He will continue to hold the charge of the post of CEO, Tourism development Authority, Rajouri in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Bashir Ahmad Saraf, KAS Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Industries & Commerce (M&S), Jammu against available vacancy.
Dr. Rajiv Kumar Bhat, KAS, Deputy Commissioner Excise (Executive), Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar against available vacancy.
Farooq Ahmad Shah, KAS, Deputy Director Quality Control, Handicrafts Department, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla in his own pay and grade against available vacancy.
Robin Singh Mehta, KAS, Deputy Director Tourism, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri in his own pay and grade relieving Mr. Mohammad Javed Khan of the additional charge of thepost.
Mohammad Hussain Bhatti,KAS, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi in his own pay and grade vice Mr. Bashir Ahmad Saraf.
Gurdarshan Singh, KAS under orders of posting as Programme Officer, ICDS Projects, Udhampur has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Tourism vice Mr. Robin Singh Mehta. |
