| Senior NC member from Mendhar joins Congress | | | Early Times Reporter

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference today received a severe jolt when one of its senior member from Mendhar Constituency Mohammed Rafiq joined the Congress party at an impressive function held at the PCC Headquarters here today.
Rafiq was admitted to the party fold by senior vice president Dharam Pal Sharma.
After joining the congress party, Rafiq said that he left the National Conference because of lack of any good policy and programme for the general public. He expressed full faith in the policies and programmes of the Congress party and its leadership.
Among others present on the occasion were Amrit Malhotra, vice president, Th. Hari Singh general secretary and PCC spokesperson Ravinder Sharma. |
