As part of its country-wide programme, Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists of Jammu district, led by Morcha State General Secretary Sanjay Baru, today observed 2-hour fast to register their protest against Congress-led UPA’s total failure to control the prices of essential items and ensure security of the masses.
The fast dharna was organized by District President Pranav Gupta.
Describing the UPA government as ‘ulta- pulta’ alliance, Pranav Gupta, on this occasion, alleged that it has done nothing for the common masses but only added to the price-rise, insecurity and encouraged those who raised voices against the nation. He said the fast dharna is symbolic demonstration to make the sleeping UPA awake. He said that the morcha will intensify its campaign in the coming days.
Pranav Gupta described four year’s of UPA government as the black period as it is sheltering Afzal Guru, the top terrorist of country, even after he has been sentenced by the Supreme Court of India. He said the Greh Mantri (Union Home Minister) is said to be as Grehan Mantri, as he knows nothing about the national security and describes Afzal Guru as Pakistan national.
Narotam Sharma, Rakesh Dogra, Rakesh Sharma, Vikrant Badwal, Sanjay Khajuria, Narinder Shawney, Naveen Dogra, Dhan Swaroop, Jyoti Dogra, Vivek Sharma, Abhimanyu, Vikrant Khajuria, Rohit Tangloo, Anshul Pandita, Vivek Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rajinder Sharma and Jimmy were among others who took part in the fast dharna. |
