A large number of job aspirants awaiting their turn to appear in the interview to be conducted by the Service Selection Recruitment Board and Public Service Commission are facing a tough time as their private employers have refused them experience certificates and harassing them.
On top of the list of such aspirants is large army of private teachers serving in different private schools followed by Computer and financial experts serving various industries across the state.
When a team of news men interacted with large number of aspirants awaiting final interview call all of them in one voice blamed their employers for adopting unprofessional approach.
A senior science teacher serving one of the prominent city schools was all guns firing against his own management as they have recently refused him his experience certificate.
The poor guy is expected to submit his experience certificate along with other testimonials at the time of the interview but now he is finding himself helpless.
Demanding anonymity the science teacher said, "I served my institution for over five years after completing my post graduation and now when I am getting chance to appear for my interview for Govt job, I am told by my management that they cannot issue me my experience certificate". He asked a simple question how will I establish the fact that I am having five years of teaching experience in the subject, shaking his head in despair.
"I do not feel like going back to my school as I am dejected with the response of the school management", he added.
He also appealed to the state government to issue strict guidelines to the private institutions in every field not to harass their employees and hold their experience certificate just because they do not want to part with them.
Another batch of teachers who were present in the office of the SSB in Gandhinagar lamented that they are all submitting their application forms without experience certificates as their respective school managements have refused to issue them the same.
It may be mentioned that a strong army of unemployed youth in the state awaiting job opportunities are willing to go to any extent to realize their dream of winning a berth for themselves in government jobs but their present employers are creating road blocks in their way. Recently the state government has launched a massive drive to fill large number of vacant posts in the state.
