| NMC hails decision on pay panel | | | Early Times Reporter

National Mazdoor Conference president Subash Shastri has hailed the decision of the state government to implement the recommendations of sixth pay commission for its employees after they are implemented by the central government.
As per a pres release, addressing NMC workers’ rally here today, Shastri urged upon the Prime Minister to ask committee of secretaries to give its suggestions forthwith in the proposed structure, recommended by the pay panel. He said the pay revision is due from January 2006 and expressed his concern that there is still confusion over the implementation of 6th pay commission report that needs to be removed once for all.
Shastri suggested that there should be similar pay structure, perks and allowances to the salaried class through out the country in view of globalization and hand some package offered by the private sector as to their staff also sleep hike in prices of essentials and cost of living.
Among others who also spoke on this occasion included Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sunil Kochar, Sham Lal Sharma, Parshotam Lal, Ghasita Ram, Harbans Lal, Amar Nath, Vidhya Dhar, Yash Pal, Janak Raj and Ram Pal Sharma. |
