| JMC launches mega plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 21: A mega plantation drive was organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) which was started from Ward 8.
Hundreds of saplings were planted in different areas of the ward and everyone pledged to save the environment by motivating others as well. Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) was the main guest in the plantation drive and he was also accompanied by a number of JMC officials including JMC Secretary Sunaina Sharma, Health Officer Dr Saleem, Veterinary officer Dr Zaffer, AEE Ashok Sharma and many others including political and social activists of the area.
The plantation drive was started from Brig. Rainder Singh Chowk and moving towards various places, the plantation drive culminated near MLA Hostel where the participants planted hundreds of saplings and swore to protect the environment. |
