| Balwant Gargi’s Hindi play ‘Do Zaariye’ staged | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 25 A new Hindi ‘Do Zaariye’ written by Balwant Gargi was staged by the artists of Natrang Theatre here today. The play kept the audience spell bound with actors’ lively performances. The play unveils a confrontation of the different visions of life, with the discussion of the necessity of women in life. One credits the very existence of mankind to women, the other while rejecting this is an outdated slogan cites the examples of men not only living together but marrying and leading happy life. The one supporting man-women relationship terms this as the creation of human frustration and mental sickness and claims that anything against feeling etc. glorifies the importance of materials in life and the power of money. The debate continues and by the time it reaches to a climax one realizes that mechanized life has given birth to all this abnormal behavior of human beings. One may attribute life’s failures, frustrations, rejections, and dejections to his/her abnormal behavior but no one realizes that the absence of the finest practices of life and the distance from the nature is the root cause of the abnormal tendencies of a human being. They included the upcoming actors of Natrang Gaurav Jamwal and Rahul Singh, and were supported by Kamaljeet Kour who through her matured acting added more life to the intense intellectual debate. Rohit Verma who scored sound effects also did justice through an entry in the play. The lights were designed and executed by Mohit Sharma. |
