| NCP has vision for a developed state: Randhir | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 25 Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Thakur Randhir Singh said that the Jammu and Kashmir unit of NCP strongly feels that when a serious dialogue and peace process is going on to address internal and external dimension of J&K issue at various levels, the NCP has a vision for a peaceful and developed state of the country- a prosperous India occupying a place of prominence in the comity of nations as a economic power to reckon with. He said ensuing assembly elections in J&K later this year has drawn a both a challenge and opportunity to NCP top reach out to people in a big way in all the regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and be a stake holder in addressing the genuine socio economic and political aspirants of the people. Thakur said that the three major ministries headed by NCP at the centre could also play an important role in making an impact on the electorates in the coming assembly elections by announcing a package for J&K this could be declaring Jammu airport as Shri Mata Vaishno Devi International Airport and declaring J&K as a herbal state. Thakur said herbal park may be set up in all districts of the state to give employment to thousands of unemployed agriculture technocrats to utilize their services to identity and cultivation of rarest of rare aromatic and medicinal plants in the state. |
