Jammu, July 22: Inter School district level competitions of U/ 19 yrs Boys & Girls in the various disciplines like Badminton, Table Tennis, Boxing Handball, Tennis Cricket, Throw ball Rugby etc and U/14, 17 & 19 yrs Hockey Boys & Girls, begins at various venues in district Jammu.
The Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu, organized Inter School District level competition of U/14, 17 & 19 yrs Boys & Girls in various above said disciplines at Jammu.
The tournament is organized under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Wothy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Srinagar/ Camp Jammu, under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu is the organising Secretary of the said competitions.
In the first day of opening of schools, the registration for the competitions remains low and is under process for the next day for competitions in various disciplines. The results of most events will be communicated tomorrow after the competitions.
The conveners and the technical officials of all the events were present at the venues. The main gathering of the participants were seen at M.A Stadium Jammu. In some competitions the winners and runners were appreciated by the conveners at the venue. They also were advised to remain in practice for the next level of competitions. |
