JUVC launches Online portal of 14th JK Science Congress

Jammu, July 22: In its endeavour to promote cashless & paperless transactions in the University, Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu today launched online portal of the 14th JK Science Congress (www. 14jksc.in). While complimenting the organizers for creating this website (www. 14jksc.in ) for digital registration and cashless transactions, Prof Dhar hoped that the website would prove to be an excellent initiative to reach out to maximum researchers across the country.
Prof Dhar further said that in the JK science Congress, eminent scientists, researchers, academicians and policy makers would attend and interact with the delegates.
The 14th JK Science Congress is being organized by the University of Jammu from 13-15th September 2019 on the theme "Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future" and is expected to be attended by more than 700 researchers from various institutions of the State and the country. The mega scientific congregation would provide a wonderful opportunity for young researchers to present their findings before the leading scientists/ professionals in the concerned disciplines. On the occasion, the Organizing Secretary of the Congress, Prof Naresh Padha, informed that the submission of abstracts and registration fee for the 14th JK Science Congress is to be done online only. Expert Committees in each discipline would scrutinize the abstract by the researchers and select quality work for presentation in the Science Congress, Said Prof Padha.
Among others Prof R K Ganjoo, Director, CDC, Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar, Prof Kulwant Singh, Controller of Examinations, Head of Departments & Deans of Science Faculty were also present on the occasion
