Udhampur, July 23: Gearing up the campaign anti drugs campaign at Udhampur, Dogra Kranti Dal (NGO) Chief Patron, JKNPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia informs that DKD will organise 9th marathon in series on 28 July Sunday which will commence from Krimchi Mansar & concludes at Horse ground where as mega marathon will organise on 22 September 2019 from Syal Sallan to Modi ground at Udhampur. While addressing a press conference at Udhampur today, NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia expressing deep concern over increasing of drugs with fast rate at Udhampur & said that from the last two years DKD has been organising Such marathon and orher sports activities with motive to channelise the energy of youngsters in possitive direction, Mankotia added He disclosed that in mega marathon on 22 September Rs 51,000 cash prize will be given to first winner, whereas Rs 31,000, Rs 21,000 & Rs 11,000 to Second, Third & Fourth winner respectively. Mankotia said that huge response has been received against anti drug campaign due to organising such marathons.
He appealed to youngsters to participate in maximum numbers in upcoming marathons.
