| 2 drug peddlers arrested, 150 intoxicant capsules recovered | | | Early Times Report
Samba, July 23: Acting sternly against the drug menace and its propagators in the area, District Police Samba has arrested 02 drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of P/S Ghagwal and recovered a total of 150 Nos. of Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) at Naka NHW Tapyal. A Police Party of P/S Ghagwal headed by Inspr. Susheel Kumar, SHO P/S Ghagwal under the supervision of Sh. Tilak Raj Bhardwaj, Dy.SP Hqrs. Samba while performing vehicle checking duty at Naka NHW Tapyal intercepted a swift car bearing Registration No. JK21B-7677 which was coming from Kathua. During checking of the vehicle a total of 150 Nos. of Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) were recovered. The accused persons have been identified as Anil Verma S/o Shiv Lal Verma R/O Jakh, Vijaypur and Sahil Sharma S/o Kulbushan Sharma R/O Suchani, Vijaypur. Both the said drug peddlers were arrested and the contraband item was seized on the spot. The vehicle swift car used for drug smuggling was also seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 67/2019 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Ghagwal and investigation started. |
