JDA demolishes tin sheds at Ware House

Jammu, July 23: Jammu Development Authority today demolished illegally constructed tin sheds of various shopkeepers in C- Block at Ware House, Jammu and has vacated its valuable land from the encroachers.
It had become a common practice for the shopkeepers at Ware House to extend their shops by way of constructing pucca tin sheds, subsequently encroaching upon the roads which hinder public movement and vehicular traffic. After receiving complaints from anonymous source, the enforcement wing of JDA sprang into action and the timely demolition has prevented the encroachment of JDA land.
The drive was conducted under the close supervision of Narinder Kour, Director Land Management, JDA headed by Shruti Bhardwaj, Tehsildar, JDA assisted by Rajinder Singh Chaudhary, Ramesh Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Thoru Mohd. and Naresh Kumar, Khilafwarzi Inspectors of JDA along with the field and revenue staff of JDA.
The drive was successfully executed with the full co-operation of police force provided by Viney Sharma SP South, Jammu, headed by Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SDPO South, Gurnam Singh, SHO Gandhi Nagar and Vikas Sharma Chowki Officer Ware House.
