| Mayor calls on Advisor K. Vijay Kumar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 23: Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 23/07/2019 met with K. Vijay Kumar Advisor to Governor of J&K at Convention Centre Jammu and had a detailed discussion regarding the general issues of Jammu.
Mayor requested the Advisor for providing of synthetic track for providing athletes of Jammu at Govt. College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu as there is no such track available in Jammu for the athletes and such type of tracks are beneficial for the athletes for their better performance while the neighboring States i.e. Himachal Pardesh, Punjab have been provided synthetic tracks for Athletes.
Moreover, organizing of (North Zone) Athletic Champion ship has been allotted to Jammu which is going to be held first time in J&K state w.e.f. 9th of September 2019 and this event is very precious & matter of great honour for the state in which about 700-800 athletes from all over India are going to take participate in this crucial event. Mayor also requested the Advisor to direct the concerned & District Administration to take effected necessary measures financially as well as security related to make the event successful.
He also make aware to the Advisor that Plantation drive with the active participation of Social Forestry and other organization has been started by Jammu Municipal Corporation to make Jammu Green, neat and clean on the direction of Governor of J&K State. |
