| Army man killed in encounter with militants | | | Early Times Reporter

An army jawan was on Tuesday killed in an encounter with militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
Rifleman K J Singh was killed when militants opened fire on a search party of the Army in the forests of Lalpora, the sources said.
The sources said the troops fired back but the ultras fled after a brief gunfight. A search operation was on in the area to flush out the fleeing militants, the sources added. |
