Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed to have busted a militant hideout on the outskirts of Mahore and recovered arms and ammunition .
Official sources told KMT that Arnas police team launched a search operation in general area of Bernaili, Bhollar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Mahore. During search operation a cave used as hideout by militants was busted at Morah Chunsal on the outskirts of Mahore.
The recoveries included, one wireless set, two Chinese hand grenades, seven UBGL grenades, one pistol magazine, three pistol ammunition, ten rounds of 303 and one knife.
However, there was no report of any arrest of militants from the area. |
