At least Seventeen persons were injured one of them seriously in different road accidents across the Jammu division during last twenty four hours.
Police sources told that one person sustained serious injuries after a bus bearing registration number JK02D/ 7381 on way from Udhampur to Barmeen met with an accident at village Hartaryian Morha Ruabag.
The injured was immediately shifted to GMC hospital for treatment. He has been identified as Satpal son of Vishwa Nath resident of Barmeen Tehsil Ramnagar.
In another road mishap a couple got injured after a Matador they were traveling in rolled down at Garigarh.
Both of them have been admitted in GMC hospital for treatment. They have been identified as Ahsu sharma, wife of Parshotam Lal, Parshotam Lal, son of Bhagat Ram, both residents of Poonchwere.
In yet another road accident another couple was injured after a truck hit a Maruti car at New Plot. Both of them were immediately taken to hospital. They have been identified as Anita, wife of Sanjay Kumar, resident of New Plot, Sanjay Kumar S/o Krishan Lal, R/o New Plot.
Meanwhile twelve persons sustained minor injuries in different road accidents across Jammu and its adjoining area. Those undergoing treatment in GMC hospital and District Hospital poonch are identified as Shivani, wife of Dr. Sanjay Dhar, resident of Bakshi, Romesh Rani, wife of Surinder Lal, R/o Jain Bazar ,Sunit Choudhary, S/o Jasbir Singh, R/o Samaba, Harish Honda, S/o Pashori Lal, R/o Jeevan Nagar and Paramjit Singh, S/o Jot Singh .
Mohd Hussain, s/o Shamas Din, R/o Bag-Yaldara, Paramjeet Singh, S/o Jodh Singh, R/o W. No. 6 Poonch, Mohd Din, S/o Noor Din R/o Dallan, Shahida Begum, wife of Fazal Din, R/o Kamsar, Sakeena Bibi, wife of Shakar Din, R/o Degwar, Shehnaz Akhter, wife of Mohd Din, R/o Degwar. All injured were rushed to district hospital Poonch from where Paramjit Singh was shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment. |
