| Court grants judicial remand of husband | | Capt Megha Razdan case | | Early Times Reporter

Forest Magistrate Jammu Yahaya Firdous Ahangar today granted three days more judicial remand of Captain Chataniya Bhatwadaker who was produced in custody by the Gangyal Police in the Court with the request for more judicial remand. Court after hearing IO granted three days more judicial remand with the direction to the investigating officer to complete the investigation.
Captain Mega Razdan w/o Captain Chatanya Bhatwadekar was found hung on July 1, 2007 at Kunjwani Army Quarters and police initiated investigation in the mysterious death and registered a case U/Ss 306 (abetment to suicide) & 498-A (cruelty) RPC.
While granting judicial remand Forest Magistrate Yahaya Firdous Ahangar after examining the remand application filed by the police and the case dairy, granted three days more judicial remand.
The accused was arrested in the case on April 1, 2008 in Fir 34/2008 u/s 306/498-A RPC, the investigation of the case is in progress on the request of the police the accused is remanded to Judicial Custody with direction to investigating officer to complete the investigation, the court said. JNF |
