| Drive against sale of illicit liquor continues, one booked | | | JAMMU AUG-30-Continuing its drive against the sale and manufacture of illicit liquor, border police under the supervision of SSP Border Jammu Rajinder Gupta conducted several raids at different places and booked the accused.
During the raid at Marhole, eight packets of illicit liquor were recovered from one Dev Raj son of Mangal Dass of Marhokle. The accused was taken into custody and a case under FIR no 64/2006 U/S 48 Excise Act was registered.
The policy party during patrolling arrested Girdhari Lal son of Lal Chand of Ramgarh under 36 Police Act for creating nuisance at an open place.
