Thakur Randhir Singh, state NCP chief called on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Raj Bhawan here last evening. As per a release Singh welcomed Patil on her visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Singh, who is also national president of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Growers Association of India (AMPGAI), apprised President about the Aromatic and Medicinal plants wealth in the country and particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and pleaded for declaring Jammu and Kashmir as herbal state. Randhir Singh also said that Pratibha Devisingh Patil has created a history after becoming the first women to head the largest democracy of the world, India and we all Indians are proud of her, the release added. |
