In a significant development Jammu University is starting prestigious Mater's Degree course in Remote Sensing and GIS from the academic session 2008-09.
As per Varsity sources the admission Brochure for the twin prestigious courses would be soon released to provide adequate information to interested students who want to pursue their studies in the subjects.
Remote Sensing is the science and art of acquiring information (spectral, spatial, temporal) about material objects, area, or phenomenon, without coming into physical contact with the objects, or area, or phenomenon under investigation. |
