An army jawan committed suicide with his service weapon in the border district of Rajouri, in wee hours on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sepoy of 268 Medium Regiment, Swapnil Wadne of Maharastra.
Sources informed that jawan committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon early this morning.
The reason which forced the jawan to take this extreme step could not be ascertained as yet. However, army has ordered an inquiry in this connection. |
