| Eighteen persons injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 28 At least eighteen persons were injured in separate road mishaps across the Jammu Division since last night. According to the sources that all injured fallowing persons were admitted in GMC Jammu after sustaining injuries in different road accidents in Jammu city and outskirts. Balkar Singh son of Late S. Anant Singh resident of Janglote District Kathua was injured when a scooter was hit by motor cycle at Janglote, Gain Singh son of Kesar Singh resident of Srinagar was hit by CRPF vehicle 407 at Channi Himmat Jammu , Farooq Ahmad son of Lal Din resident of Surankote, Bashir son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Srinagar , Hira Lal son of Dhani resident of Utter Pardrash, Arun Ganjoo son of A.K Ganjoo resident of Srinagar, Paramjeet son of Parshotam Lal resident of Gurdaspur, Jaswant Kour wife of Daljeet Singh resident of Amritsar were injured when a sumo was hit by a truck at Nandni , Kuldeep son of Madav Singh resident of Nagar auto hit by Army vehicle at Manda near petrol pump, Nand Kishore, Mohit Kumar both sons of Chetmal, resident of Subash Nagar, when a motorcycle was hit by matador at Rajinder chowk, Femu, son of Deya Ram, resident of Rajpura, was hit by unknown vehicle at Batehra, Ram Dass, son of Bua Ditta, resident of Rajbagh Kathua, motorcycle slipped at Rajbagh, Kathua. Tata sumo number 5757/JK14A driven by Bhagwan Singh son of Giam Singh on way from Magar Kote to Ukrhal link road skidded off the road at Hewagan and rolled down about 200/250 feet into a Nallah resulting injuries to three persons namely Rita Devi wife of Bhagwan Singh, Ashish Abjeet Singh sons of Bhagwan Singh including driver all of them are Kunchi Ukhral Tehsil Banihal. All injured shifted to Bone and Joints hospital Banihal and after first aid were shifted to Srinagar for further treatment. A bus bearing number 8851/JK04 on its way from Ram Nagar to Udhampur met with an accident near BDO office Ram N agar resulting injuries to one person namely Sunil son of Sansar Chand resident of Chanuta and shifted to Sub District Hospital Ram Nagar for treatment. |
