Scholars accuse authorities for neglecting Dogri

Dogri Research Scholars’ Forum has strongly resented the neglect of Dogri in recent notification for the post of lecturer.
Addressing media persons, Sandeep Dubey, chairman of the forum said that notification No. 6-PSC OF 2008 / DT. 23-05-2008 brought out the PSC for requirement of lecturers in the higher secondary of J&K in which only one post of Dogri has been advertised.
He said that it is sheer negligence of Dogri which is mother language of Jammu.
Dubey urged upon the concerning minister and government to immediate amend this notification by increasing the numbers of posts of lecturers in Dogri.
He pointed out that the shortage of teachers in Dogri in higher secondary and higher school has been a matter of concern with the development and promotion of Dogri language through the education system.
The members of Forum urged on the authorities concerned to meat our demands immediately otherwise they will launch agitation.
