| Govt accorded priority to neglected areas: Saroori | | | Early Times Reporter Doda | May 29 Minister of state for tourism, forest, school education, social welfare and CAPD, G M Saroori during his tour of Kishtwar and Doda districts today visited Bhalessa and Thatri areas of Inderwal constituency and took stock of ongoing development activities in the area. As per a press release, while speaking largely attended meetings at Kansoo, Changa, Drought, Figsoo and Thatri areas; Saroori said that unprecedented developmental activities in every sector has been registered throughout the state and the priority has been accorded to the neglected areas in respect of providing essential services like road connectivity, education infrastructure, water and electricity besides Medicare facilities. He highlighted the achievements of the coalition government headed by Azad and appealed the people to extend whole hearted support to congress candidates during the ensuring assembly elections in the state for ensuring the development of the state. He asked the executing agencies to complete the ongoing development works within the time bound period so that its benefit reaches to the common people. He also reiterated that the present govt. is committed to fulfill the promises made with people, the release added. |
