| Poetic meet in memory of ‘Saarthi’ | | | Early Times Reporter

Adbi Kunj known for its efforts in promoting literary activities of the state is organizing a Tarahi Mushaira in the third week of June in memory of late Dr. O P Sharma ‘Sarthi’.
While addressing the members of the Kunj, its president Sham Talib said, late Sarthi was a visionary poet and writer of the state. He on the occasion recited two famous ghazals of Dr. Saarthi, are was “Aasman Ki Fiqr Thi, Aab Aasman ho jaonga”and the second was “Mumkin nahi tum koi jaddoo jaga sako”.
Members present in the meet read out their latest poems and ghazals, beside the poem received on telephone of A.K.Ganjoo Seher from Srinagar and A.R.Fida Kistwari from Kistwar were also read out, the met was presided over by K.K.Shakir And Tayyat Bharti was the chief guest. |
