SSP Doda Manohar Singh visited villages Kalhota and Goha of Marmat area and convened a police-public meeting in which large number of people including ex-Panch, ex-Sarpanch, Numberdars, Chowkidars and senior citizens of the area participated. Dy. SP head quarters Doda Mazahar Hussain Shah, IC PP Goha Marmat and Khellani were also present in the meeting. The people projected that govt. have under taken the construction works are not being executed by the concerned agencies properly. The people of village Kalhota area requested for installation of electric transformer for regular electric supply to the village. The participants further stated that PHE pipelines have been damaged from Gunthan as a result of which the water supply has been effected badly. They also stated that water tank of the village is filled with dust and requires to be cleaned on priority. The participants also stated that vehicle operators charging from village Kalhota to Doda and Goha to Doda. The participants also requested for special Recruitment Drive from villages Kalohta and Goha of Marmat area. The participants appreciated the role of Doda police in all fronts.
SSP Doda gave a patient hearing to the grievances of public and assured them that their problems will be taken up with the concerned authorities for redressal of the same. However, some minor problems were projected by people relating to police for which SSP Doda issued on spot orders/ directions to police officers present in the meeting for the redressal SSP Doda laid stress to participants to come forward and help the police in order to curb militancy and activities of other anti-social elements. They were given telephone numbers of SSP Doda, ASP Doda, Dy. SP Hqrs. Doda, SHO P/S Doda, IC PP Khellani/Goha for contacting in case of any need. Moreover, they were advised to remain careful against the nefarious designs of anti-social elements. People extended their full cooperation to police from their side. |
