| SVO accords send off to AC revenue | | | Early Times Reporter

A farewell function was held in the Central Office of State Vigilance Organisation in honour of K.K.Sharma, ACD Revenue, SVO on his superannuation after completing 34 years of outstanding service, in the various departments of the state govt. K.K.Sharma joined the Govt service in 1974 as Public Law officer in the Revenue department in district Jammu. He was later posted as Prosecuting Officer in J&K Police for 8 years. He qualified KAS competitive Examination and was allotted revenue service in December 1987. Shri Sharma has an outstanding service record of integrity and dedication to duty as a revenue officer. In recognition to his outstanding qualities the Government on the recommendations of Commissioner of Vigilance sanctioned his re-employment for period of 1 year which comes to an end on 31.05.2008.
The officers of SVO gave a warm send off to the superannuating colleague. The Commissioner of Vigilance Dr Ashok Bhan commended the contributions of Shri Sharma through his objective expert opinion in a number of revenue related vigilance cases. The Commissioner of Vigilance also presented a memento to Shri Sharma and wished him good health and happy retired life. |
