| Ayurvedic doctors hold meet, discuss problems | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 30 The working committee of All J-K Ayurvedic Congress (AJKAC) has expressed its anguish over the prevailing administrative anarchy in the Directorate of Indian System of medicine (ISM), at a meeting chaired by its state president Dr.T.R.Gupta here today. He said not a single post in any cadre has been created, but on the other hand ad-hocism has become order of the day. He said there is a lack of vision for meaningful functioning of the department. He also said that the most genuine demands of ISM is to establish separate Directorate for Jammu & Kashmir. With regards to other demands, Dr.Gupta said, new post along with staff be created for new districts, fulfillment of all vacant post, regularization of all ad-hoc and contractual medical officers and up-gradation of Ayurvedic hospital at Jammu. Among others who attend the meeting were Dr. Shiv Dutt Sharma, Dr. H.N. Patwari, Dr. Balwant Rai Sharma, Dr. O.P Sharma, Dr. Shri Niwas Gupta and Dr. Vinay Kumar. |
