| Jammu boys selected in U-19 North Zone team | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 30 Promising Aditya Pratap Singh has been selected in the North Zone under-19 team for the forthcoming inter-zonal tournaments to be held at Bangalore. Aditya Pratap has been named in the team as a batsman after series of trial matches and a month-long zonal camp that was organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Himachal Pradesh. In all, 16 boys have been selected for the North Zone team. Out of these 16 boys, six are already playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Aditya’s coach, Randhir Singh (Rajan) told SAN. A second year student of Bachelor of Arts (BA) at MAM College, Aditya performed well in the trial matches which helped him come in the selected list of final 16. Meanwhile, another spin bowler from Jammu and Kashmir, Manik Gupta have been named in the standbys by the selectors. |
