| Workshop on Quality Management System held | | | Early Times Reporter

Softlab computer Institute the reputed learning centre of Punjab Technical University has organized a workshop on “Quality Management System” for the students of BBA, PGDBM and MBA, here.
The workshop was inaugurated by MLA Gandhi Nagar, Raman Bhalla. Managing Director Tawi Arc Electrodes, Anil Suri was the guest of honor.
The main aim of organizing the workshop was to get the valuable information on quality management system, in the shape of lecture, from Anil Suri the chief speaker and expertise on the subject. The programme was attended by more than 150 management students of MBA, BBA and PGDBM along with the concern faculty members.
While speaking on the occasion, Bhalla laid emphasis on the role of Quality management system. Thereafter, Anil Suri main speaker on the occasion, in his lecture stated that the
the main aim was to educate and aware the students of management regarding the quality management sytem as this is the major factor of the course of management administration. He futher added that it is must for the bright career of the students who are the tomorrow’s leaders.
Centre Director, Sofltab Computer Institute, Gourav Gupta in his welcome address stated that Quality Management is based on certain rules and regulations having the framed principles. It is set of coordinated activities to direct and control an organization, in order to continuously improve the effectiveness, efficiency and guaranty of its performances
He further informed that Softlab Computer Institute, PTU is also going to launch Admission Programme for session 2008 in the first week of June. He also stated that in the coming time Softlab is also introducing dedicated training and placement cell for the students which would definitely help them in getting better placements and choosing right carrer. |
