| ABDPSS celebrates Rakshabandan samaroh | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 17: AKhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti celebrated Sammohik Raksha Bandan Samaroh. "Saamohik Raksha Banadan Samaroh", the festival of tying holy threads on hands of brothers, was celebrated with gaiety and fervor in the city of temples by the volunteers of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti at Gouri Shankar Mandir, Jammu.
The function was started in a traditional manner by lighting a lamp by Vasudev Anand ji in the presence of Sunil Sharma National Coordinator of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, NMC President Subash Shastriji, and other renowned social personalities of Jammu with enthusiasm and fervour followed by vedic Mantrocharan and Shlokas of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta which graced the occasion and give peace to the mind and the body. Amid religious fervor and traditional rituals sisters tied rakhis to their brothers. Gouri Shankar Temple witnessed heavy rush of peoples who thronged in huge numbers, seeking blessings of Lord Shiva on the auspicious occasion of Shravan Poornima. Speaking on the occasion Narinder Dass Ji appreciated the efforts of the Samiti for arranging sammohik Raksha Bandan programme in the city of temples. Speaking on the occasion NMC President Subash Shastri also lauded the role of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti in Raksha Bandan Programme. |
