J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages accorded warm send-off to Farooq Baig, publication officer on his superannuation after rendering 33 years service in the academy. As per a press release, besides, staff members, Savita Bakshi, additional secretary, J&K Cultural academy, Jammu recalled his services rendered by him to the academy and the institute of music and fine arts. Earlier who spoke on the occasion include Dr. Gian Chand, Chief editor and Shamima Akhter, special officer for cultural activities(gr-I), Smt. Neeru Sharma, Editor Hindi, Brij Mohan, editor Dogri, Sudhir Mahajan, Sr. drama instructor, Sanjeev Gupta, Sr. staff artist, Bupinder Singh, Varinder Kumar, Chanchal Sharma and Balbir Choudhary, the release added. |
