| JKAACL to hold theatre workshop from | | | Early Times Reporter R.S Pura | May 31 A one mouth long painting, dance and theatre workshop is being organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) at Abhinav Theatre from June 11, for school going children to develop their over all personality. Speaking at a music programme organized by the academy at Bikram Public Higher Secondary School at village Kirpuid, here today, Addl. Secretary JKAACL Savita Bakshi said to promote art and artists belonging to rural and border areas is one of the aim of the academy and to achieve the same academy is organizing number of activities, she said. While welcoming the avidiances Chairman of Bikram school, Autar Singh appreciated the efforts of JKAACL organizing such programme in rural and border areas and will boost local artist. On the occasion prominent folk parties and individuals sang songs which include Thoru Ram Premi and Party Kuldeep Raj and Party, Km. Suman Lata, Shakti Laltra, Sat Paul, Ved Parkash and Party. The Musician were Rakesh Anand on Flute, Satish Lalotra on Dholak and Joginder Paul was on Tabla, Bishan Dass. Shimama Akhtar, SOCA (G-I) earlier welcomed the guests, artists and audience. |
