President, Jammu University Research Scholar Executive Association (JURSEA) Vikas Sharma has hailed the statement of Omar Abdullah, National Conference President that un-employed youth of the state will be given stipend, if his party comes to power in next assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference here today, Sharma said, this shows that among all the political parties NC is very much concerned about the un-employment problem among educated youth. He said present Government in the state did nothing to tackle un-employment in the state. Coming down heavily on recent state of state chief minister that research students should concentrate on their studies and leave politics to politicians only. He said scholars are concern with their work, but face problems due to less scholarship, which needs to be enhanced. He said Azad’s fast track recruitment is a political mileage and nothing else.
Among others present on the occasion were Kamaldeep Singh, Paras Shastri, Harbhajan Singh and Pushvinder Kumar.
