DODA, Aug 20: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today discussed the MGNREGA convergence plan for the financial year 2019-20 here at a meeting. The DDC discussed the specifications and focus areas to be considered while formulating the convergence plan for the district.
Besides, he directed the IWMP department to revisit the plan proposals to make it more comprehensive by consulting agriculture, fisheries and irrigation departments. He further told the departments to work in coordination and exchange the technical expertise to propose the best convergence plan for the district.
"Timely formulation and proper implementation of the plan on the ground will facilitate creation of durable assets and provide work to the rural work force at their doorsteps" the DC said. |
