A valedictory function was organized at civil airport to bid farewell to CRPF personnel, who were imparted training in handling the passengers during the course of checking. Speaking on the occasion, transport commissioner P.S. Gill, who was the chief guest on the occasion stressed on the need of intelligent security system in view of the growing terrorism menace. He said that security personnel should be able to profile the passengers merely by interacting with them during checking and added this measure is successful where even sophisticated gadgets fail to serve the purpose.
Directors, Air port, Chander Mouli hoped that this training of CRPF personnel will be fruitful to the participants and they will be able to employ. Those skills in right spirit wherever they are posted. He also thanked the regional Dy Commissioner of security M.N Chaturvadi for arranging this course first time in Jammu. |
