| ASSI holds meeting of office bearers | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of the office bearer of Association of Small Scale Industries was held today at Gangyal under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jain, president where Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President: Bansi Lal Gupta, Vice President: Tejwant Singh Reen, General Secratory: Pardeep Vaid, Secratory: Sandeep Ohri, Treasurer were present.
As per a press release, the problems being faced by the industrial units on account of submission of ‘C’ forms were discussed at length.
The participants at the meeting said that it has been submitted to the office of finance department repeatedly that form ‘C’ was not being issued by the buyers from outside the state making purchase from SSI units of J&K on the plea that there is CST exemption to small scale industries sector. In view of the fact it was requested by the govt that deposit of ‘C’ form for the sales made up to 31-03-2005 may be condoned as we switched over to the VAT regime and assessments of such units should be completed. |
