| Doc accused of rape, abortion held | | | Early Times Reporter

Gangyal police today held an absconding doctor who was accused of raping and then conducting abortion on the victim here today.
According to reports, on February 2, a complaint was lodged at Gangyal police station by one Anita Manhas r/o Gangyal, that she was raped by her beloved. In her written complaint she told that her beloved Ramesh Singh s/o Om Prakesh Chib r/o Gangyal on false promise of marrying her had conducted rape on her. He then took her to a clinic in Janipur for abortion, where doctor Anil Dutt s/o Brig Mohan Dutt also raped her. The doctor later with the help of her wife Harsh Dutt carried abortion on her .
They took Rs 20000 from Ramesh Singh for the purpose. Police after registering a case under section 370,420.315 and 120 RPC had arrested Ramesh Singh Chib where as doctor and his wife were absconding .Today a police team on tip off conducted a raid and arrested the absconding doctor where as her wife was still absconding. |
