| Govt not giving ears to clerks: Sadhotra | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 1 Expressing concern over the silence adopted by the present coalition government towards the fulfillment of demands of the striking clerical cadre of the state government departments, Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province said the government has made a prestige issue out of it, which is unjust and unfortunate. He said Govt should immediately intervene and draw out a solution which is acceptable to the striking clerks. "The clerical cadre is the backbone of all the state government department and deserves to be encouraged and given a pat on their back. They are not demanding anything which is unjust or beyond the competence of the government, he said. The on-going strike, he said, has paralyzed the entire system of the government which has created chaos, confusion and misery amongst the commoners, for no fault of their.. He asked the striking employee not to stand on prestige and try to amicably sort out the issue so that the general public may not suffer.
