Jammu, Aug 22: Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Govt. Degree College Kathua organized one day Awareness Programme in collaboration with Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB) , Department of Life Long Learning, University of Jammu for the students of Science and Economics .
The theme of the programme was Career Options in Science and Economics. The programme was held under the guidance of Dr. Kavita Suri Director DLL University of Jammu. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Asha Ram Sharma , Principal of the college. In his inaugural address Prof. Asha Ram Sharma appreciated the efforts of Career Counselling and Placement Cell of college and DLL, University of Jammu for organizing such an awareness programme in collaboration regarding career options after graduation for students of college. The special Resource Persons were Dr. Shallu Sehgal Senior Assistant Professor Department of Economics, University of Jammu and Dr. Arti Sharma Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology , University of Jammu and Dr. Rewa Khajuria , Counsellor , EIAB, DLL, JU. Dr. Shallu Sehgal informed the students about career options and job opportunities in Economics after Gradutation and Post Graduation. She also spoke about Careers in Banking and their selection procedure . |
