Jammu, Aug 24: Various political parties have expressed condolences on sad demise of Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitely.
Governor Satya Pal Malik expressed grief over the sad demise of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley. Governor recalled his close relationship with Jaitley since his student union days in 1974, and working together with him during the Jai Parkash Narayan Movement. He remembered the enormous contribution and sacrifices Jaitley had made for the country especially his imprisonment during the Emergency. He recollected their close association during the days when Jaitley was nominated as a member of the National Executive of the erstwhile Janata Party and subsequently in the BJP. Governor further stated that he would always remain thankful to Jaitley for his sage advise and humane approach in dealing with various issues from time to time.
All India Kashmiri Samaj conveyed its deep sense of grief at the untimely demise of Arun Jaitley, a former Union Minister of Finance and a pillar of Bhartiya Janata Party. Jaitley ji's contribution to country, to the NDA Govt and to BJP, over many decades will remain unparalleled. His sharp mind, grasp of political, organizational and official matters was so complete and deep that others found it difficult to match his articulation. The country is poorer by his passing away. AIKS is particularly saddened by his departure because he had chosen to fight our PIL (PIL was admitted by Supreme Court involving many issues concerning our community in exodus only due to his efforts and physically being present and plead on our behalf.) in the Supreme Court of India, way back in 2006. That, over the years, this case has become the litmus test of the govt's obligations to its citizens in distress, is largely due to Arun Jaitley Ji's efforts.
Shiromani Akali Dal Badal Jammu condoled sad and untimely demise of Arun Jaitley former Finance Minister and renowned parliamentarian was mourned in the emergency meeting called at the office of. The services rendered by Jaitley for the country will be remembered for a long period as he whole heartedly and tirelessly worked for the development of India. Both within India and outside Arun Jaitley was regarded as an efficient economist of fame. His services for implementation of GST (single tax regime) in India was a big success and he was instrumental in implementing the same in the whole country. It was due to his tireless efforts that Indian economy showed an upward trend during his tenure as Finance Minister.
Condoling the death of Senior BJP Leader and Former Finanace Minister Arun Jaitly, the former union minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta expressed his grief over the demise of this great leader.
He said Shri Jaitly was a great nationalist and legal luminary as also he was having many virtues. As far as this State is concerned Shri Jaitly was closely linked and taking keen interest in the affairs of this troubled State. Prof. Gupta said his death is a loss to the Nation and moreso to this State as he always played an important role in shaping and settling many issues. He would be remembered for long years for his contributions to the nation as also to this part of the country.
Expressing deep sorrows and pain for the sad demise of the national leader Deepak Gupta State Secretary ABVP JK said that Nation has lost a great leader, ABVP has lost a very organisational karykarta who used to care about the organisational working. He was a very dynamic leader who not only contributed a lot in drafting National Policies in Modi-I Government, major laws like GST, Demonetization , etc were implemented in his tenure as Finance Minister. Deepak said that many karykartas who had worked with Lt. Arun Jaitley ji also felt really shocked after his demise and remembered their working experience with him in their times.
A condolence meeting was held at the premises of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha Parade today under the president ship of DBPS president Ved Prakash Sharma to condoled the untimely demise of senior BJP Leader and former union Finance Minister Arun jaitley an outstanding parliamentarian and brilliant lawyer of the country. Tawi Andolan convener Chander Mohan Sharma a close associate of Jaitley beside Ex. D.C. B.S Jamwal and senior Advocate P,C. Sharma and others while paying rich tributes to Jaitley described him as one of the tallest leaders of the nation and his contribution of Indian politics will be remembered since long.
National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Arun Jaitley, former Union Minister. In a condolence message, Rana described Jaitley as gentlemen politician, who reached out to all sections of political spectrum and society. "In Jaitley, India has lost a tall statesmen, a political stalwart and a legal genius", Rana said adding that having married a daughter from Jammu and Kashmir, Jaitley had a special bond here. "The untimely demise of Jaitley had created a huge void, which is difficult to be filled", he added.
Veteran leader and Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh founder President Aromatic Plants Growers Association of India recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture , Govt of India condole the sad demise of former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at AIIMS where he was undergoing treatment for several weeks.
Describing demise of former Minister and Senior BJP leader, Arun Jaitley, as a great loss to the nation as well as to the party, BJP State Executive Member Raman Suri said that this void can never be filled in.
While paying his tributes to Jaitley, Raman Suri said that since he was married to Sangeeta, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister Girdhari Lal Dogra, he had special place for Jammu in his heart.
