| 1 die, 8 injured in road mishaps | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 2 One person died and eight others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu during last twenty-four hours. Police sources told that the driver of a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AG-6416 on its way from Surankote to Daraba died on spot when his vehicle rolled down about 130- feet near Dabara. The deceased has been identified as Usman Malik. His body has been kept at sub district hospital Surankote. In another road mishap one persons, Rohit, son of Rattan Lal, resident of Mohalla Nariyan, was injured when his motorcycle slipped at B.C Road. Five persons were injured when a Sumo they were traveling in turned turtle at Purkhoo. They are identified as Punit Pradhan, son of Neelkal, resident of Gangyal, Baldev Singh, son of Sham Lal, resident of Bhagwati Nagar, Balbir Singh, son of Bushan Singh, resident of Channi Himmat and Suresh Kumar, son of Dev Raj, resident of Chand Nagar. Meanwhile four persons have sustained injuries in Jammu and its adjoining areas in different road mishaps. All of them have been admitted in GMC where they are undergoing treatment. They are identified as Suresh Dutta, son of Banu Dutta, resident of Subash Nagar ,Naresh Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Digiana, Deepak Sharma and Sunny. |
