| Bitta flays Patil for hinting clemency for Guru | | ‘Declare Pak – terrorist state’ | | Amritsar | June 2
Former All India Youth Congress President and Chairman All India Anti Terrorist Front M.S. Bitta Monday lashed at the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil who hinted for clemency to Afzal Guru.
Addressing the press conference here Bitta said that Patil was making the compression of Afzal with Sarabjit Singh who is on death row in Pakistan’s jail as everybody knows in India that Sarabjit was innocent since he had inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan in state of drunken. Whereas Afzal was hardcore terrorist, it would be wrong for Patil to keep lenient view for Afzal Guru.
Talking about the recent series of bomb blast in Jaipur, Bitta demanded enhancement of security on international border in Rajasthan border. Bitta claimed that infiltration of Pak trained terrorists still continue from Pakistan to India through the Rajasthan border.
Bitta said that Pakistan should be declared terrorist country since it has recently violated the norms of cease fire in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bitta also condemned the officials concerned who were responsible for the deportation of former Human Right Minister of Pakistan Ansar Burney from Delhi Airport to Dubai last week. |
