All India Chess: Winning start by IMs

Both the International Masters (IMs) taking part in the All India Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament at Udhampur have made a winning start with two points each in their kitty at the end of round two today.
While top ranked (2412) in the tournament, Himanshu Sharma defeated Ram Krishan Mishra (1896) while Lahiri Atanu (2309) trounced Jaganraj D (1857) in the round two.
About 124 competitors from different parts of the country are competing on 62 different tables thus giving it a fantastic look.
This tournament of national standard is being organized by Rural Development Society in collaboration with All J&K Chess Association.
